What is the meaning behind the bird and the crescent moon ?

Thoth was the Egyptian god of communication and language. Widely believed to have given man the ability to speak words, write and create symbols and drawings. Media is the ability to communicate in any and every medium - audio, visual, tactile, print, etc. 

The bird is called an “ Ibis”. The sacred ibis was considered the living incarnation of Thoth on earth. It was mainly found in Africa and the Middle East 

The moon was a symbol of his intelligence. 

The company logo is my artistic take on Thoth and his symbols to brand a media company that honors what many in African culture consider the birth of present day communication. 

The colors are based off a spiritual sub conscious play and also a marketing play on color response. Blue in the Bible represents peace and calm ; tranquility. Gold represents luxury and class. 

I want the consumer to see us as a brand that exudes excellence while keeping the spirit calm and at peace.
